The Scuba News New Zealand is the local, New Zealand edition of leading scuba diving magazine, The Scuba News and has been created to cater entirely to the needs of New Zealand divers. 

Developed by a small team of dedicated scuba diving media professionals, The Scuba News was launched in 2013 to bring you the best and most up to date scuba diving information from around the world and The Scuba News New Zealand is part of our first phase of expansion into targeted, regional markets.

Whilst being part of The Scuba News, The Scuba News New Zealand is managed and edited exclusively by divers living and diving in New Zealand to ensure that our content caters specifically to New Zealand based scuba divers. Helmed by Managing Editor, Kathryn Curzon, The Scuba News NZ will continue to bring you everything from the world of scuba diving including: The EnvironmentDive CentersDiving EquipmentPhotos and VideosDiver Training and general news which affects the whole scuba community. This is in addition to great Scuba Diving Travel Offers from around the world.

Kathryn joined The Scuba News team as a guest contributor back in 2013 and became Managing Editor of The Scuba News NZ in May 2016. Kathryn is a passionate ocean advocate and co-founder of Friends for Sharks – a marine conservation cause working to support charities and increase worldwide awareness of the plight of sharks.
